US legal scholar to speak at WWW conferenceOne of America's finest legal minds and constitutional scholars is to speak at WWW2006. Professor Cass Sunstein, Karl Llewellyn Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago Law School and Department of Political Science, will be examining the threat and promise of the Internet for democracy and free speech on 26 May 2006. Cass Sunstein, 50, has testified before Congress on many issues, including free speech in the media. He has advised several nations on constitution-making and law reform initiatives, including Ukraine, Poland, China, South Africa, and Russia. Before joining the University of Chicago's Law School, Cass Sunstein worked as an attorney-advisor in the Office of the Legal Counsel of the U.S. Department of Justice.
