InnovAction Lab aims at helping university students acquire the capabilities to understand the market potential of an innovative project and to present their project to venture capital investors and angels.
InnovAction Lab follows an original experiential approach: students have to face the typical problems of start-up founders, from team building (which must be obligatorily multidisciplinary), to pitching investors. Seminars with a high-impact emotional approach motivate strong engagement by the students.
Every year about 300 university students from all the main Italian universities participate the three editions of the program (Milan, Rome, Sardinia). The best teams pitch their project to a final event, with an audience of more than 1,000 people, including about 150 professional investors.
InnovAction Lab is free for the students! The program is supported by partners and sponsors that strongly believe in youth empowerment and that recognize to InnovAction Lab the ability of concretely preparing students for the business world and fostering entrepreneurial talents.
InnovAction Lab is considered one of the 5 global major success cases in the field of entrepreneurial training. In its 4 years of activity it has given life to over 40 startups, which raised more than 5 million euros by private investors and venture capital investment funds.
