Embedded Web

Description

Currently, ubiquitous computing is becoming one of the major research areas. We are surrounded by various devices which are connected in various ways and we also see continuing progress in these devices such as digital cameras, mobile phones, MP3 players, HDD video recorders, MPEG-4 camera and potable players, IC cards and tags, digital TVs, and car navigation systems. Web is often embedded with such devices for their configuration and provides an interface between humans and devices. Since these devices are very small in size as well as memory and CPU capabilities, embedded Web needs special care for these environments. Topics may include (but not limited to):

  • Embedded Web
  • New Hardware Devices for Web browsing
  • User Interface using Embedded Devices
  • Communication among Embedded Devices
  • Management of Embedded Devices
  • Performance of Embedded Web
  • Applications of Embedded Web
  • Evaluations of Embedded Web
  • Web-based Ubiquitous Computing
