Presentation guideline

1. Presentation Format

  • Primary mode: On‑site, in‑person delivery.
  • Virtual option: Possible only with prior approval from the conference chairs. While WWW ’25 is hybrid‑enabled, we give priority to on‑site presentations to maximise delegate engagement.
  • You are required to upload your presentation slides into a shared folder created for your session: https://1drv.ms/f/c/A9EF22D0B1592D38/Eo0mMx_psnlGklsSgf8X76kBdlv3WDFKNDKn9fcm6U5DBA?e=0fAU0E. You can identify your folder by choosing the corresponding day and time slot. If you are attending the conference online, please also upload the pre-recorded video into the folder. The detailed instruction of how to upload the presentation slides and pre-recorded videos can be found here: Instructions of uploading presentation slides & video.

2. Slides & Posters

  • Every slide — and every poster — must display the WWW ’25 logo.
  • Oral sessions will be recorded and later uploaded to the ACM SIGWEB YouTube channel.

3. On‑Site AV Setup

  • Each room contains two conference laptops:
    1. One with a webcam for recording the talk.
    2. One for hosting the Zoom feed.

  • Personal laptops cannot be accommodated; please load your slides onto the room PC in advance or email them to the session chair.
  • Keynote speakers are exempt from the upload rule but should still test their files beforehand.

4. Conference Platforms

  • Whova: Your central hub for real‑time schedules, room changes, and announcements. Registered attendees will receive an invitation to join.
  • Zoom: Integrated into Whova for all livestreams. Links appear directly inside the Whova agenda.

Poster Printing & Pick‑Up

If you need local printing:

We encourage poster presenters to bring their own printed posters to their poster sessions. But if you choose to print your posters locally in Sydney due to some reasons, please follow the instructions here carefully: TheWebConf25 Poster local printing guide.

  1. Arrange printing with one of the recommended providers (contact details in the author portal).
  2. Pay the provider directly; printing costs are not covered by the conference.
  3. Request our volunteer pick‑up service via the online form (link provided in the author portal).
  4. For questions, email Biao Wu at Biao.Wu‑2@student.uts.edu.au.

Virtual Attendance Tips

  • Use Whova to join sessions; the embedded Zoom link will open automatically.
  • To ask questions, type them into the Zoom chat. (Open‑mic questions are discouraged to avoid echo and feedback in the physical room.)

Thank you for helping us deliver a smooth hybrid experience!
