Biography
M. Graeber Jordan
Chief Executive Officer
Gjordan.com LLCM. Graeber Jordan is CEO of GJordan.com LLC, a company that helps corporations create an environment where the web can make dramatic improvements in their business processes. He received a BSBA degree from the University of South Carolina in 1966 and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1979.
Mr. Jordan's career at The Boeing Company spanned 33 years with executive responsibilities in Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Information Technology, and lastly as Web Program Manager. During this period he participated in the stream of disruptive computing technologies-from punch cards to the Web.
In 1975, he created from scratch an MRPII system for Boeing Electronics that won Class A recognition from Oliver Wight. He was the first Boeing employee to hold the title "Director of Computing." In 1986, he tightly integrated the MRPII system with an accounting/financial system, and got US Government certification for use on Department of Defense and Department of Energy contracts (as far as he knows a unique accomplishment).
When the company decided to replace its fourteen e-mail systems with one, he launched the deployment of the world's largest installation of Microsoft Exchange e-mail. From 1995 to 1999, as Web Program Manager, he established one of the world's largest and most effective Intranets and Extranets. By mid 1999, the Boeing Web was on a solid production footing, with 190,000 employees using the internal web, supporting the company 24x7 with 2300 web-enabled business processes -- 28% of them mission critical. Externally, an estimated $2 million per day of goods and services was being delivered over the web.
Mr. Jordan retired from Boeing in July 1999 and formed GJordan.com LLC.
