The Web Conference 2019 will be taking place in San Francisco, California. The conference's main venue is the Hyatt Regency San Francisco hotel.

For those of you traveling by plane, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) lies about 10 miles south of San Francisco, and Oakland International Airport (OAK) is to the East just across the Bay from San Francisco.

Direct train connections to downtown San Francisco are offered by BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). The ride from either airport to the Hyatt Regency takes about 40 minutes. The closest BART station is Embarcadero, which is just a very short walk from the conference hotel.

A third option, especially if you intend to also visit Silicon Valley and the South Bay, is San Jose International Airport (SJC), about 45 miles south of San Francisco.

The quickest way to get to The City from San Jose Airport, is to take the free Airport Flyer shuttle bus to Santa Clara station, and take a CalTrain train from there.

Additionally, you can find taxis and ride-share services at all three airports.

If you will be visiting from abroad and you are not a United States citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident, please verify that you're either eligible for the Visa Waiver Program, or make sure that you apply for the appropriate visitor visa in time.

Staying directly at the conference hotel, the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, is a great option: you'll have the shortest trip to the conference sessions (and you can spare yourself from traveling during San Francisco rush hour traffic), you will have more chances to meet other attendees who also stay at the Hyatt Regency, and the location is great for exploring, too.

The Embarcadero water front is just outside the front door, and it is great for jogging, biking, or a relaxed walk. Union Square, with world-class dining and shopping, is an easy 20-minute walk away. And many well-known software and internet companies also are close by the hotel in the City's South of Market ("SoMa") area.

If you prefer to explore other options, San Francisco offers lots of world-class hotels, charming bed-and-breakfast places, and budget-friendly hostels. To research what's available, we suggest you visit the travel booking website of your choice, or talk to your local travel agency.

Although some of its famous hills make for a challenging climb, San Francisco is a very walk-friendly city. It is well worth to set aside some time during your trip to explore The City on foot.

For traveling longer distances within San Francisco, MUNI's buses, light-rail trains, historic streetcars and cable cars cover the entire city area. Taxis and ride-share services are available as well.

For exploring the Bay Area beyond San Francisco's city limits, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and CalTrain are great options.

The stations closest to the Hyatt Regency hotel are Embarcadero (MUNI and BART), Drumm & Market (buses and historical streetcars), and Drumm & California (cable cars).
