Extension of Earlybird Discount for Students and Groups of 10 or more

Students

WWW2008 Organizing Team has decided to extend the earlybird discount fees for students even the earlybird offer was ended. This is a limited offer for students and may be stopped very soon. Please register immediately before you miss out this valuable chance.

Registration Fees

The conference registration fees for various categories are shown below. The online registration system for WWW2008 has been deactivated from April 14, 2008 (11:59pm Hawaii time). All remaining registration processing will be done on-site at BICC, Beijing.

Remarks: Payment will be handled in Hong Kong and exchange rate US$1 : HK$7.8 will be used.

Passport registration

This is the best value which includes all conference events for all 5 full days from April 21 - 25, 2008 (but excluding W4A and WOW). Events include: Tutorials, Workshops, all core Conference sessions, daily lunch and coffee breaks, Welcome Reception and Conference Banquet.

3-Day Main Conference

Delegates who take the 3-Day registration can enjoy all activities on all 3 core days of the conference during April 23 to 25, 2008. This covers the core conference sessions, daily lunch and coffee breaks, Welcome Reception and Conference Banquet.

1-Day Conference / Tutorials / Workshops

The 1-Day fee is for registration of tutorials on April 21; workshops on April 22; or any one day conference event during April 23 to 25. The fee is the same even if the event is held half-day (AM or PM only). However, delegates can still enjoy lunch and coffee breaks served during the day and any specific items offered on the day selected. This registration gives the best flexibility to delegates who have tight schedules or tight budgets while still wish to enjoy the interested events on certain days.

Delegates may add an extra 1-Day registration(s) to the basic 1-day or 3-day ticket to create their own attendance plans which best fit their schedules, interests, or budgets.

W4A

The International Cross-Disciplinary Conference on Web Accessibility (W4A) is a co-located event which will be held for 2 full days on April 21 and 22, 2008. The fee covers all W4A events, lunch and coffee breaks on these 2 days and a dinner Monday evening. Interested delegates should register for this event early. The special fee may be offered after February 18, 2008 only if seats remain available.

WOW

The World Organization of Webmasters (WOW) "Best Practices in Web Design and Development with WOW certification option tutorial" is also a co-located event at WWW2008. The registration fee covers all WOW activities, lunch and coffee breaks. This is again a special fee which may not be available after February 18, 2008. Please register early before the seats are filled.

Cancellations Policy

Any cancellations, substitutions, or other requested changes before April 14, 2008 (11:59pm Hawaii time) will be subject to a US$100 or 10% of the total registration amount (whichever higher) as transaction processing fee. Official request for cancellation MUST be made by 31 March 2008. Any other request made after April 14, 2008 will not be processed. All refunds will be made in April 2008.

Remarks:

1. Student attendees may be asked for presentation of Student ID card at the registration desk for status verification.
