Mosaic can be used as an integral part of the different management tools (SunNet Manager, AutoCAD, etc.). It is possible to start Mosaic from the SunNet Manager and the SunNet Manager from Mosaic. It is possible to use FrameViewer and Oracle-browsee from Mosaic. The communication between Mosaic and other applications is realized through CGI-compliant scripts. This integration allows the network manager to use at a given moment the best suitable tool to find an answer for the problem quickly and efficiently. More advanced project in this area like Interact Communication Facility [8] will bring full integration of Mosaic and different LAN Management tools.
