Several classes in the Computer Science Department at Brigham Young University are currently being taught using the World Wide Web to augment class instruction. One such class is a junior level class called Concepts of Programming Languages. Concepts of Programming Languages is a nearly paperless class. Beginning the first day of class, students use Mosaic to access the Web for information about the class. Paper handouts are used only for exams; all other information is passed between teachers and students electronically, using a combination of World Wide Web pages, a newsgroup and email.
