Abstract

Special Education teachers need a wide variety of instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of their students. The uses of Mosaic as a learning tool, a tutorial, teacher created games, whole language exercises, and a library of supplemental curriculum materials are demonstrated. Specific examples of games, classroom exercises and a step-by-step procedure for writing tutorials is presented. Concluded is that Mosaic can be a valuable tool to improve teaching efficacy.
