Applications
While Mosaic is not the panacea, it can be one of the tricks in our bag. It is one of the
strategies we use to add diversity and dimension to our teaching. I would like to share with you
five applications of Mosaic:
- learning tool
- tutorial
- games you can create
- whole language exercise
- library of supplemental curriculum materials.
While Mosaic does not provide the sophistication of more advanced authoring programs, it does
have the price advantage, worldwide connectivity and is simple to use and share with other
teachers. It is also possible to have the students themselves create some of these applications.
