This is a track by Web developers, for Web developers. The audience will be highly technical and expecting to see new trends and interesting ideas, code and APIs of emerging applications, platforms and standards. It will be held from April 9th and 10th, 2014 in Seoul, Korea. We hope to bring the Industry track to a new height that will serve as a key attraction for WWW 2014 and deliver meaningful impact to the World Wide Web community.
Keynote Speakers
Steve Willmott, CEO of 3Scale
Steven Willmott co-founded 3scale and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Steven was previously the research director of one of the leading European research groups in Europe on distributed systems and Artificial Intelligence at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. He brings 10 years of technical experience in Web Services, Semantic Web, network technology and the management of large-scale international R&D teams.
Daniel Davis, W3C
Daniel works for the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C) and his responsibilities are split between a marketing and communications role, and a technical, team contact role. Previously he worked as part of the Developer Relations team at Opera Software in Tokyo where he created HTML5 examples and articles, gave presentations and talks about the Web and represented Opera at events and in interviews.

Arnaud Le Hors, IBM
Arnaud Le Hors has been working on open standards and open source for close to 20 years. Former team member of the W3C he is currently responsible for Linked Data standards at IBM. Arnaud chairs the W3C Linked Data Platform WG and OASIS OSLC Core TC. He’s been involved in several key web standards, including HTML, DOM, and XML, as well as open source projects like Xerces.
Andy Sterland, Micorosoft
Andy Sterland is a Program Manager in the Windows & IE Developer Tools group where he works on tooling for web developers. Currently Andy is the program manager for the inspection and debugging tools in F12 and recently drove the design for the overhaul of the tools for IE11.
Karl Dubost, Mozilla
Karl Dubost has worked with the Web since its inception. After W3C, Opera Software, he is now working for Mozilla in the Web Compatibility team to make the Web usable on any devices.
