Pr Lionel Collet

Lionel Collet was chair of the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from February 2006 to March 2011 also for the PRES Université de Lyon from 2007 to 2008.

Hospital-physician and professor of physiology, Lionel Collet was also president of the CPU (Conference of University Presidents) from December 2008 to December 2010.

Doctor of Medicine of Lyon, he received the PhD in human biology in 1985, before becoming a university professor / hospital practitioner in 1992 and Head of Audiology and orofacial exploration at Hospices Civils de Lyon.

He directed the laboratory “Neuroscience and Sensory Systems”, UMR CNRS, 1991 to 2006 and the CNRS research group hearing aids from 2000 to 2003. He was a member of the National Committee for Scientific Research from 1995 to 2004. He has authored or co-authored over 200 scientific publications in international journals.
