2 - Design Features in WebLinker
LaTeX2HTML provides a simple facility to link to destination points in other infostructures that are also generated by LaTeX2HTML. This is is done by specifying labels within the document to be linked to. From these labels, LaTeX2HTML creates a table of internal references which is published with the generated document. These published labels may then be pointed to by other LaTeX documents via commands particular to LaTeX2HTML.
The main disadvantage with this scheme is that if the remote infostructure changes, you still have to rebuild your entire document.
