WWW7 Cultural Track: Friends, Guests and Sponsors

The model for development of the Cultural Track is different from other WWW7 tracks.

Three days of interesting interactions have been planned to cater for a range of interests. Participants will, at times, want to attend other WWW7 sessions. Sometimes they will want to talk quietly with each other. Sometimes they will want to put their shoes on line.

Special guests have been invited to present in plenary sessions and mingle with participants. In this case, what has been of concern is to have people who are interesting and fun to be with. There are, significantly, some people who may not be able to attend the Track but who nevertheless have been active participants in the planning process and are, in one way or another, watching the proceedings. We think of them as 'special friends' of the Track.

Finally, but most importantly, we have sponsors who have made all this possible.
