This panel presentation will include representatives from the Federal Communications Commission; market leaders Microsoft and Netscape; W3C and the World Institute on Disability to review national policy initiatives on universal design and disabiliy access in telecommunications. We will discuss the appropriate balance needed to ensure disability access on the Web given the current environment of voluntary standards and self-regulation.
