On behalf of the conference organizing committee, the Volunteer Coordinator is accepting applications for a limited number of hard-working, knowledgeable, enthusiastic people who are interested in serving as members of the support team at the Fifth International World Wide Web Conference. The conference will be held at the CNIT, La Defense Paris, France, on May 6-10, 1996. Volunteers must be available from May 4-10, 1996.

WWW5 Volunteer Coordinator www5vol@ncsa.uiuc.edu phone: 217-244-0131 fax: 217-333-5973Please be concise and complete all of the following requests for information:
Name: Postal Mailing Address: Affiliation (university/organization/company): Email: Phone Number: Fax Number: Conference Experience, if any: Technical background/experience (hardware, software, networking, audio-visual, M-BONE, etc.): What computing platform(s) is most familiar to you? Other interests, skills, or resources that would make you a valuable volunteer (example: hobbies, language skills, medical training, educational background, etc.): Why do you want to participate? Do you have any physical limitations which would affect the types of duties you are assigned? It is critical that you be able to attend and work all the days that volunteers are needed (May 4 - 10). If unavailable at a specific time (i.e., have submitted a paper/poster for presentation), please be certain to indicate that now.
We will try to create a working schedule which will allow volunteers free time to attend sessions they are particularly interested in, or to schedule the volunteer to work at that particular session. In order for this to happen volunteers must review the conference agenda as soon as it becomes available, and send their schedule requests to the Volunteer Coordinator.
Volunteers will be expected to work six hours minimally between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., but will probably be scheduled for more. Every effort will be made to allow volunteers time to attend a session or two daily.
