In April, Lyon hosted for the second time The Web Conference. As part of the « Off », MSH LSE, Lyon 2 University, L Digital and INSA are organizing this event.
Computing and girls « IT, why not girls? » is open to all and will take place on June 4th from 18h, in the space Marc Bloch of the MSH LSE (14 avenue Berthelot, 69007 Lyon).
Program :
    6 pm:
  • Welcoming words: Cécile Favre and Sabine Loudcher (Université Lumière Lyon 2, MSH LSE: Gender, Societies and Digital Humanities)
  • Opening word: Nathalie Dompnier (President of Université Lumière Lyon 2) and Yannick Chevalier (Université Lumière Lyon 2, Vice-President in charge of Equality and Citizenship)
  • 6.15 pm: Introductory Lecture « Why Computer Science Has Become a Men’s Job? « . Isabelle Collet (University of Geneva)
    7 pm:
  • Back to the Barcamp organized on April 26 with college students as part of the « Excellence in Computer Science » course, why not me? Young people speak! « . Restitution of the workshops by Florence Françon (INSA Lyon) and Florence Saubatte (L Digital)
  • 7.15 pm : Round table with the participation of :
