The Lyon Convention Centre is situated at Lyon’s northeast Gateway, between the Tête d’Or Park, the Quai Charles de Gaulle and the Rhône, right on the edge of the city center, near the northern ring road and 5 minutes from a junction connecting with a major European motorway network.

The Convention Center is 25 to 35 minutes from the Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport multimodal station using the direct connection by a tramway line called Rhonexpress that heads to Part Dieu TGV station, and then the bus line C1.

The Lyon Convention Center is 10 to 15 minutes from Part-Dieu TGV station and 15 to 20 minutes from Perrache station. TGV trains run between Lyon and Paris every hour or every half hour.

By Bus

  • C4 (Jean Macé – Cité internationale) which connects with metro lines A and D at stops Foch (A) and Saxe-Gambetta (D).
  • C1 (Gare Part-Dieu – Cuire) a fast trolley bus with a dedicated lane connect the Cité internationale with Part-Dieu in about 12 minutes. In addition to this connection, a tramway line called Rhonexpress heads from Part-Dieu to Lyon-Saint Exupery airport in about 25 minutes.
  • C5 (Bellecour Antonin Poncet – Rillieux Semailles/Vancia Château Bérard) Lyon Convention Centre to downtown (Bellecour – presqu’île area).
