The city of Rio de Janeiro will host the 22nd edition of the International World Wide Web Conference - WWW. The event, which will happen on May 13 to 17, 2013 will be hosted for the first time by a Latin American country. Check the promotional video for the Brazilian edition and the www2013 website.
The WWW conferences are promoted by the IW3C2 (http://www.iw3c2.org/), and the group in charge of hosting the 2013 edition in Rio de Janeiro is comprised by the CGI.br, the NIC.br and by the W3C Brazil.
The event gathers renowned Web experts and was created in 1994. Its goal is to be the main forum for debate and discussions on the evolution of the Web, technology standardization and its impact on society.
The preliminary call for papers is on! The main conference program of WWW 2013 will have 12 tracks (or themes) for refereed paper presentations and we invite you to submit your cutting-edge, exciting new breakthrough work. In addition to the main conference, WWW2013 will have a series of co-located workshops, keynote speakers, tutorials, panels, a developers track, and a poster and demo session. |
