shown on the main Call for Particiption web page.
PowerPoint presentations should use PowerPoint 97 or later.
Submissions will be reviewed by the track program committee and
should be emailed directly to vendors@www2002.org

for examples of submissions accepted for the Vendors Track last year.

Accepted submissions will be published on the WWW2002 web site.

The Vendors Track provides attendees the opportunity to hear directly from the companies whose commercial products shape the World WideWeb we each experience. Presentations will be technical, and focused on how vendors are integrating support for Internet technologies into their products. Presentations providing a technical vision for the future of the web will also be considered. Accepted presentations will be published on the conference website.

The submission deadline of March 2002 reflects the goal of enabling late-breaking topics to be incorporated into the conference.

Submissions will be reviewed by the Vendors Track committee, and selected based on technical content (sample code is good, marketing fluff is bad), use of specifications developed by standards initiatives and activities, relevance to conference attendees, and availability of the products being discussed. Presentations from exhibitors will be preferred, to enable attendees to engage the presenter/exhibitor in more detailed discussions in the exhibition area after the presentation.

The format of submissions will be different from the other tracks, being presentations in either HTML or PowerPoint formats. HTML presentations should follow the same guidelines as described in refereed papers track submission instructions, and PowerPoint presentations should use PowerPoint 97 or later.  There is no conference template, but presenters are encouraged to incorporate the WWW2002 logo.
