The Practice & Experience Track will use the same HTML or PDF guidelines listed in the
refereed papers track submission instructions
shown on the main Call for Particiption web page.
Submissions will be reviewed by the track program committee
and should be emailed directly to pe@www2002.org
Please note that the key dates are only for this Alternate Track
Accepted Alternate Track papers will be published
in a non-ACM produced proceeding.
The Practice and Experience track will disseminate the results of real experience with web technologies to the conference audience. It includes case studies, critical appraisals, reports on large scale projects, early experience with standards and novel applications.
This year the track has a special focus on Web Services, and invites short papers describing early experiences with the emerging web service standards.
The recommended paper length is 4000 words and should be in the conference format. Accepted papers will be published in the online proceedings.
