Darrell Sano is a User Interface Designer at Silicon Graphics, Inc. Prior to joining SGI, he was a UI designer in the HCI Engineering Department of SunSoft, Inc., where he designed and prototyped advanced user interface concepts for UNIX and Mosaic Internet applications. He was the lead user interface designer for Sun's external Web pages and for the World Cup WWW pages. Prior to joining Sun, he worked as an interface design consultant and has over 7 years of professional experience as a graphic designer. He is co-author of the soon to be published SunSoft Press book, Designing Visual Interfaces: Communication Oriented Techniques.
