Title:The Web, Phase Two
Abstract:

We've been building the Web for over a decade, bringing us to the Tenth International World Wide Web Conference. We've seen the Web transform the world, and an economic cycle revolve around it. Are there any fundamental shifts left? Will the computer/communication/human system be really different, or are we just making everything faster? The talk will look at the architecture of the next phase of the Web, including the Semantic Web and Web services, compare it with the way things have been done before, and try to extract what must be really different this time around.
